Date: Thursday 23rd of September 7 – 8 pm
Platform: Zoom Video Conferencing
Guest: Seán McCabe (TASC)
Admission: Free

We are delighted to welcome Seán McCabe from TASC to share his thoughts on the recently published report ‘The People’s Transition: Community-led Development for Climate Justice’. Inspired by the community wealth building approach, the report considers how climate action can anchor community development, with special consideration for rural Irish communities. It calls for participatory community led dialogues that build on local capacities for a people’s transition. You are invited to join this timely conversation about the role that community and cooperative ownership can play in a just transition and adapting to the climate crisis. Sean will take questions and answers from attendees. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Patrick Doyle of University of Limerick.
