Talkin’ Co-op: Building Community and Solidarity
Conversation is a powerful process for building community and solidarity in a time of social distancing. In this short online session Dublin Food Coop members are invited to come together to explore the question…
‘How might we strengthen our sense of community and solidarity in these challenging times?
This session has been conceived by a steering group to establish a Members’ Affairs Committee (MAC), and will be introduced and facilitated by Davie Philip from Cultivate: The Sustainable Ireland Co-op.
It will include an opportunity to hear some inspiring short stories from fellow Co-op members, focused on an interesting project or initiatives that they are involved in that have a community or co-operative focus. In smaller groups we will get into conversation on the question and share the outcomes.
This is an opportunity to engage with the wider co-op community, hear about what is happening at Co-op, the plans to establish the MAC and how you can get involved.
This is a DFC member-only event.
