Members’ Affairs Committee January 2023

TOPIC: Member Discount & Alternative Models

WHEN: 4pm on 28th January

WHERE: Loaf Café

WHO: All members are welcome.

As some of you might be aware, there has been quite a bit of engagement in the last few months regarding various aspects that the Co-op can get better at as part of our new strategy.

One of the recurring themes has been around the benefits and downsides of the various discount models available and how beneficial they are for the Co-op and for our members.

The current model of a flat 5% discount to all members has its strengths but also its weaknesses.

The Members’ Affairs Committee (MAC) is planning to meet for a discussion on this topic at 4pm on the 28th January 2023 at the Loaf Café.

All members are welcome to join and share their thoughts, with a view to making a recommendation to our Co-ordinating Body on the way forward.

Your input is much needed and appreciate and attendance is highly encouraged.

The café will be closed, so if you’d like to have a cup of tea or coffee please bring your own keep cup, and we’ll have some complementary flasks.

If you can’t make it, but you’d like to give some feedback on this topic, email me directly at mac.facilitator@dublinfood.coop.

Please RSVP below, and I look forward to sharing a cup of tea with you soon.

Yours in Co-operation,

Robert Cazaciuc

MAC Facilitator
