Join us for an exciting MAC* and Potluck social event on Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 4pm. We invite you to gather at the cozy Loaf Café, conveniently located next to the Co-op. Your presence is highly valued, and we look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

The event will begin with a delightful potluck social at 4pm. We encourage all attendees to bring their favorite nibbles or dishes to share. To ensure everyone’s enjoyment, please remember to label your contributions with the ingredients. Although the café will be closed during this time, don’t worry! We have arranged for tea and coffee to be available through the Co-op kitchen.

At 5pm, we will transition into the MAC meeting, which will last for approximately 90 minutes. This is an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on three important topics. Firstly, we will explore ways to enhance member participation in co-op committees and the CB. Secondly, we will brainstorm ideas to further develop our MAC group, seeking fresh perspectives and input. Lastly, we will discuss collaborative efforts with the Loaf Café to promote sustainability initiatives, including reducing single-use plastic and implementing eco-friendly practices.

We believe that your insights and feedback on these matters are crucial to our co-op community’s success and growth. Your active involvement will greatly contribute to the discussions and outcomes of the event.

* The MAC (Members’ Affairs Committee) is a member-led space that allows members to feed into the big conversations behind how our co-operative works. Any members can come along and make their voice heard, and introduce topics for discussion.
