This is an introduction to Permaculture Design
Autumn is the perfect time to plan, design, and prepare yourself and the land for the following spring.
We will cover the basics of what permaculture stands for, how it can really help to organize, design, layout your land, garden, or balcony. Permaculture is all about working with nature, different climates, and how to mitigate problems, mistakes, and costs using design to find the best holistic outcomes.
We will discuss some of the collective problems in Ireland with our focus on solutions that we can all analyse, design, implement, maintain and support.
We will hopefully find some time to address collective issues to help you design your own food and resource systems.
This talk will be online – Hopefully, we can start to have a follow-up session in person later on in the year 2021.
Our Community Development Programme for 2021 has been boosted by the support we received through the Social Enterprise Fund in 2020.
