Talkin’ Cooperation: Tim Cookson and Tiziana O’Hara
26 January @ 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
In this month’s Talkin’ Co-operation we have Tiziana O’Hara from Cooperative Alternatives Northern Ireland and Tim Cookson, who some of you will know as a longtime Dublin Food Co-op staff member and founder of Common Ground Bray. With so much experience between the pair, Tim and Tiziana will speak about their own experiences working within the cooperative sector and why a focus on community is so important with in the cooperative movement. Talkin’ Co-operation is a series of talks in which guest speakers with backgrounds in cooperatives, community organising, sustainability and environmental issues will speak on a panel or individually about these topics. The aim of these talks is to get as much participation and conversation going as possible so the speakers will be taking lots of questions after a short presentation. The talks will all take place at the Inchicore Social Club and are donation based. Talkin’ Co-operation is an event that is running as part the Dublin Food Coop & ICOS Community Development Programme 2019/2020 – Read more about the programme here or download the programme booklet here To find out more about the events we have coming up visit our website here.
