Co-op Member, Patrick Doyle’s “Civilising Rural Ireland” Book Launch

Our member, Patrick Doyle, is launching his book on the early history of the Co-op Movement in Ireland; The Co-operative Movement, Development and the Nation-State, 1889-1939 on the 26th July at the Irish Co-op Organisation Society’s HQ in Dublin!

The launch will take place in the historic surroundings of the President’s Room at the Irish Co-operative Organisation Society’s building, Plunkett House, with a start time of 6.30 pm. The book will be launched with an introduction by Professor Luke Gibbons. It will be followed by a short talk on the history and political significance of the co-operative movement by the author.

He has assured us there will be plenty of nibbles!
