Last month Seán McCabe shared his thoughts on the recently published TASC report ‘The People’s Transition: Community-led Development for Climate Justice’. The video from the event is now available on our youtube channel. Inspired by the community wealth building approach, the report considers how climate action can anchor community development, with special consideration for rural Irish communities. It calls for participatory community led dialogues that build on local capacities for a people’s transition. This is a timely conversation about the role that community and cooperative ownership can play in a just transition and adapting to the climate crisis. The discussion is facilitated by Dr. Patrick Doyle of University of Limerick.
