The following members have submitted nominations to stand for election or re-election to the Co-ordinating Body of the Dublin Food Co-operative Society Limited.
Their nominations have been reviewed by the Nomination and Governance Committee, and will be brought forward to our Annual General Meeting on the 28th June 2022 for the consideration of our members.

Kevin Koidl

Kevin Koidl is a local resident of Kilmainham Square, and has been a member since 2019. He also supplies our hyperlocal microgreens.
Please share with the members your involvement with the Co-op to date.
Living right beside the Co-op in the Old Chocolate Factory Apartments reminds me every day how lucky I am to have the Co-op so close. I shop there a couple a times a day and supply the Co-op with microgreens.
Please share with the members any experience you may have relevant to serving on the board of our Co-op.
I work as a Research Fellow of Innovation and Technology in Trinity College Dublin. I server on multiple innovations and education panels to shape the future of research, education and funding.

The Co-op is an essential service for this community. It supplies not only food and goods but also a kind a warm atmosphere in which people of all walks can educate themselves about sustainable food.

Paolo Bostrenghi

Paolo Bostrenghi is a local resident who has been a CB member since 2020 having been co-opted and then confirm by members at the AGM. He was elected as Treasurer by the CB in 2021, and serves on the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee. He is seeking re-election for a second term.

I joined Dublin Food Co-op in 2019 and became a CB member in 2020. I have been part of the Nomination & Governance Committee and Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and I am now the Treasurer.
I shop weekly at Dublin Food Co-op and I love to attend the parties and get to know other members!

In addition to being in the CB for the last 2+years, I co-chaired the group which promotes sustainability in my workplace. I have an accounting and tax background. I have a positive and realistic outlook.

I have found in Dublin Food Co-op a way to contribute positively in the life of the community I live in. I want to continue to support all the big changes the DFC brings. My motto is “our co-op is our home”!

Marina Lambrakis

Marina Lambrakis was co-opted on to the Co-ordinating Body in October 2021 for the term ending June 2023. She will not be up for re-election at this year’s Annual General Meeting, but will be subject to a confirmatory vote by members.
