It’s coming up to AGM time, where we will review the activities of the last year and elect members to join our Co-ordinating Body. Given the current public health restrictions, we will be holding the meeting in an online format for a second year.
While it is regrettable that we won’t be able to meet up in person for another year, the online Annual General Meeting in 2020 was well received and we hope to make it as engaging as possible. Like last year we will run a practice session the week before, so anyone not familiar with the technology has a chance to get comfortable with it.
We are working away on finalising the Annual Report to circulate to members, and we hope to have this finished soon. Once we have this completed, the Co-ordinating Body will call the meeting for towards the end of June and we will circulate the exact date to members.

Co-op Heroes
The last year has been a challenging one for many of us within the Co-op community. But despite this, there have been many members that have continued to make an exceptional contribution to the Co-op and their fellow members throughout.
In recognition of this, we would like to ask all members to consider nominating a fellow Co-op member who they believe has made an exceptional contribution to our co-operative and/or their fellow members in 2020. A ‘Co-op Hero’!
This member would be someone that they think of as having gone above and beyond to maintaining our co-operative spirit during the pandemic. They can be a member, volunteer or staff member.
The CB will review the nominees in the lead up to the AGM, and we will recognise a number of them at the AGM itself. Three members will be celebrated and recognised for their efforts at the AGM.
