A number of members have been working on a proposal for a ‘Members’ Affairs Committee’ which we hope can function as an important means to allow more people to engage with their Co-op.
The secret to a vibrant and sustainable Co-op is the engagement of its members. And it is vital that members are educated about what it means to be a co-operative and how they can participate in their Co-op.
The Co-ordinating Body (our board of directors) which is elected each year by our members has approved new terms of reference for two new committees to support their work and to bring more members into the running of our Co-op.
